Owner Builder Site Safety
Owner Builders represent a significant part of the total construction numbers for building approvals issued in respect to domestic dwellings throughout Australia. Owner Builders as the responsible person on site, takes on the role of the Principal Contractor and is recognised as such in law and must comply with the requirements of the relevant workplace health and safety acts and regulations for the relevant state or territory. In most cases this will require the owner builder to complete a mandatory accredited general safety induction course provided by a Registered Training Organisation.
The basic course and the tools we provide with your owner builder course is in no way meant to substitute for the mandatory course. It is provided to increase you knowledge and awareness and to give you access to tools, knowledge and skill which will help you manage safety on your site.
