Following is some important information for New South Wales Owner Builder Students:
From 1 July 2015 the owner builder education requirement for a permit for owner builder work valued at more than $20,000 will comprise five units of competency from the Construction, Plumbing and Services Industry Training Package (CPC08).
CPCCOHS2001 Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry
CPCCCM2001 Read and interpret plans and specifications
CPCCCM1011 Undertake basic estimation and costing
CPCCCM1013 Plan and organise work
CPCCCM1014 Conduct workplace communication
