NSW Owner Builder Education

Welcome to the online Owner Builder Course for New South Wales.

Completing these Units of Competency satisfies the requirements of the NSW Department of Fair Trading for the issue of an Owner Builder Permit for New South Wales.

From 1 July 2015 the owner builder education requirement for a permit for owner builder work valued at more than $20,000 will comprise five units of competency from the Construction, Plumbing and Services Industry Training Package (CPC08).

Completing these units and completing your General Safety Induction Training (White Card) satisfies the educational requirements as specified by New South Wales legislation.
